"It's not a waste of food. I help those who need help."
Jack smiled.

He frowned, slowly getting up. "I think I've over stayed my welcome.."

"Ugh, I'm getting an early night."
Jack wandered to his room, tired of arguing with everyone.

"Thank you," He waved before Jack wandered away, then left the house and tried to find his way back to the graveyard.

Yumiko woke up in the middle of the night. She hadn't thought about checking on Gaara. She took a piece of paper and wrote Jack a note.
"Dear Jack,
If you wake up while I'm out, I've gone for a walk and will be back soon.
Love
Yumi"
She put her shoes on and left.

Jack awoke a few hours later.
"Ugh."
He read the note with blurry eyes and shook his head. He put his glasses on and read it more carefuly.
"..."
'Yumi,
Went to the store to pick up some things. Odds are you'll be here before me.
Jack'
He put his note which he wrote on the back of hers down where it was and got dressed. He headed oyut to the store.

Yumi headed back to Jack's before long. She didn't bother to look at the piece of paper that she had left on the table since it looked as if it hadn't been moved. She sat on the couch and started watching TV.

Jack came in a few minutes later.
"Did you get my note?"
He took off his hoes and sat beside Yumiko.
"Sorry I took off."

When Jack opened the door she jumped. Scared that someone was breaking in. She hadn't seen the note he had left because she didn't bother to look at the piece of paper again. "Jack, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" She exclaimed once she realized who it was. "Wait, what note? The only note I saw was the one I-" She cut herself off and jumped up and sprinted towards the piece of paper she glanced over it and noticed that he indeed had left a note. She walked back over to Jack and sat down beside him very nonchalantly. "Yeah, I got your note." She spoke as if she had never ran over to the paper to check. "So what have you been up to?"

"Still on call."
Jack stretched.
"But that's not why I left. I wanted to see if I could find TK. I don't trust him, and I wanted to keep tabs on him. And I wanted to get some pop to replace what we drank, and I got some chips."

Yumiko walked over to where Jack was sitting on the couch. She sat down beside him and snuggled up to him. "Any luck with the TK thing?"

"No."
Jack closed his eyes.

"I'm sure he'll show up." She placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes. "He's a grown man, he can take care of himself."

"Maybe. I'm not completely sure about him."
Jack opened his eyes.
