Name: Mattias Romanov "Kasami" Cocoon
Appearance: Mattias stands at 6'3, with a rather athletic build. He has black, almost long hair. He has glasses, and usually a bored, depressed look on his face. He wears a black jacket with a red "S" printed on the back of it, a white undershirt with a red v-neck, a short necklace with a small cross on it, dark skinny (ish) jeans, and black converse. He walks with a slightly slouched posture.
Personality: Mattias never really was a nice person, even when he was a child he wasn't the best person to hang out with. He's created his own style of fighting, incorporating things from both Taekwondo and Brazilian Jujitsu. He has an addiction to "Dubstep" music, and he's an unforgiving, intellectual asshole. He enjoys picking other peoples minds to see their reactions, for better or worse. He doesn't like it when he's patronized, and has a short temper. He doesn't show much feeling, and practices a type of "Stoicism." He prefers to stay away from people, as he would rather be with his books. He has a fairly lively sense of humor, be it an extremely dark one or not. He never takes things seriously, everything is a game to him. He has no sense of morality, as he only considers it a weakness. He does what needs to be done, be it for the good of himself, or for whatever other reason.

Bio: Mattias was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. His parents died when he was 5 years old, and in their will they had him live with one of his fathers childhood friends, Quillsh Wammy. He was enrolled in the Wammy's house program, and gained the nickname "Kasami." On October 6th, Mattias committed his first murder. He was walking down the street late at night, headed back home. Two men sprung from an alley adjacent to Mattias, and surrounded him. They said they wanted Mattias' wallet, and the first man pulled out a knife. Mattias took his wallet out of his back left pocket, and held it out in front of him. He did so fairly slowly, so that he may decide what to do at this point. The man motioned to take his wallet, and Mattias grabbed the wrist that held the knife, broke it, took the man's knife, and stabbed him in the torso 7 times. The other man ran off, as he was unarmed. Mattias took the knife, dragged the corpse into the alley, and walked off, as if nothing happened. Mattias was only 15.
Mattias' only friend was a young girl called "Mira," that's not to say that they spent a lot of time together, but they just spent more time with each other than with everyone else. They both exhibited the same bored attitude, and could usually be found playing chess against each other. They would always challenge each others intelligence, and developed a slight rivalry. One day, Mattias couldn't seem to find Mira, and when he asked Quillsh, he didn't tell Mattias anything. Mattias just had to carry on, without the location of the only person he really felt he cared for. Mattias never wanted to make any other friends after that, because he knew it would only hurt him if he got too close, and they were ripped away.
After his friend's disappearance, Mattias kept mostly to his studies, and was usually seen writing things down in in his notebooks, while wearing fairly large headphones that were blasting Dubstep music. When he wasn't studying, he was either smoking, on the computer, or putting together infinitely large puzzles. He worked desperately to advance his intelligence, striving to be the best in the eyes of his legal guardian. He didn't even consider his parents at this point, he focused on himself, and only himself. He didn't talk about it, but he always considered himself slightly superior in comparison to the other students. In his mind he always wanted to be the best, and he'd do pretty much anything to get there. This isn't to say he was a sore loser, just accepted defeat, and then tried to become better next time.
Sample: Mattias was sitting down in his desk writing down things about the Russian Revolution, while blasting "Rollout" by Chrispy. He looked over his shoulder, and he saw his friend Mira walk into the room. "Oh hey," he said, moving one earphone away from his head as to hear his friend speak. "Hey Kasami, what ya' doin'?" Mira asked. "Nothing, really, just my studies," Mattias said as he closed his book. "Feel like playing chess?" "Well of course," answered Mira, "It's the only fun thing here anyway." Mattias nodded, stood up, and walked over to the chess table, in which Mira was already sitting. "You can go first," Mattias said. Mira nodded and sat on the side with the white pieces. She picked up one of her knights, and placed him at F1. Mira yawned and said, "Your turn."
Mattias woke up one morning in a wife-beater and green pajama pants, walked into the school's cafeteria, and helped himself to a plate of eggs and bacon. He then sat down at the table in which Mira and himself would sit every morning. Mattias had almost finished his plate, and to his surprise, Mira hadn't shown up that day. Mattias went on through the day looking for his friend, but didn't find her. He then went to his "father", Quillsh Wammy. "So Quillsh, where the hell is Mira?" Mattias asked. "Mira is no longer enrolled in Wammy's house, I'm sorry." Mattias stood there silent for a few seconds. "I see...well, that can't be helped."
Mattias found himself laying his bed motionless. He silently fumed, at how his only friend could possibly leave him without giving him some sort of notice. After a little while, after he regained a bit of his composure, he decided to walk to the nearby workout facility. He changed into a pair of black shorts, taped his hands, and began to beat the living hell out of the nearest heavy bag. He worked up a fairly good sweat, and then went on to bench pressing. This whole time, the only thing he can think about was how someone like Mira could betray him. Mattias then came to the conclusion that Mira couldn't have betrayed him like that, instead, he decided that someone else must have had something to do with it, somebody like Quillsh Wammy. He decided that from there on, he will not sleep until he figures out what happened to the only person he really cared about.
