The investigation

Spedster entered the house first. He looked around if his aunt wasn't here and to his luck she wasn't.Right follow me to the main room with the TV. We should watch it if something new will come up. You make you're self at home I'm gonna get the files ready.

She entered the house taking a glance around. "I'll check for mics and cameras, just in case. Sad when you think public places are more privet then your own home. I sweep my place twice a day."

Sure do you're thing.He said while checking the papers that he printed while finding what he needed.

Ruby searched the place for anything and came up with nothing. "All clear." She said and took the papers out of her bag that she photo copied for the library. "There are a few things i thought it could be but now i've narrowed it down to two."

Spedster retuned with the papers in his hand and sat down on the sofa.He also turned on the TV.Right so you start.

"Ok well," She said sitting down with him and pulled out the paper on soul takers. "Soul takers were a myth that was around a long for a long time. They say the Takers would be called by someone and then if the Takers approve they would give them a crystal. They would speak the name of the person while visualizing them and the soul taker would kill them. They reach into the persons chest and crush the heart making it seem like a heart attack and then eat the soul. The soul taker gets meals and the owner gets the power to kill." She explained and took in a deep breath. "The next one is a Shinigami, a death god that owns a book that if the person's name is written they will die. But i wasn't sure about that one because why would a death god give up the book with nothing in return."

I'm leaning more for the book thing. I mean if Kira had a cristal he could only use it withing his home, because....well talking to a crystal is pretty weird. While having a book is a normal thing no one will suspect a thing. And about a motive.....dunno maybe bored or something.He said with a slight smile.

"That's why i couldn't decide which was correct. Because they both seem plausible to me." She tapped a finger on her chin looking down at her papers. "Anyways what do you have?"

Oh, right.He said as he took out three papers.Soichiro Yagami.The current chief of Kira investigation.From the police department.Next one is Karaur Ichigo and Mifune Izuko two simple police officers. They all got teenager kids. All three got sons.

"Wait, Yagami.... I think i met his son Light Yagami." She said remembering the kid from the library. "Yeah i did he gave me his full name which was odd. And he seemed really smart and kinda high and mighty."

She nodded, "we should call Beyond and let him know about all this."

Yeah......what do you think of himHe asked Ruby in a more serious tone.

"Well hes ok, I mean if it wasn't for him we wouldn't be doing this right now. Well i would but i wouldn't have your help. You know?" She said shrugging. "But anything is better then that creepy smiling guy."

He....Yeah. But that look in his eyes give me the creeps. I bet it does to since you followed them aswell.He said while shrugging.

She nodded in agreement, "I only agreed to join because i thought he had info i needed but apparently not."

"This whole thing they got going is going to fuck up this investigation, if he slows me down i'll ditch him in a heart beat."

She glances at him, "Why do you ask? The investigation is the important thing i would expect you to ditch me."

He remembered as they walked from the restourant.The reason I came to Japan was because my parents died they were my only family.But also because I was betrayed, ditched by my best friend.I...I guess I don't want anyone to feel the same way that I did.

"If life has told me anything is that you can only count on yourself." She said her face emotionless but her voice held a hint of sadness that she quickly pushed aside. "You should look out for yourself and not worry about others."

He noticed that her voice wasn't like always kinda sad.But while we're working as a team we got to believe in each other well let's not believe in Beyond atleast, but you can believe in me.

She laughed, "Why are you a figment of my imagination that i have to believe in or you will go away?" She joked and flicked his forehead. "Just dont slow me down and we got nothing to worry about buddy boy."

He gave a nervous laugh.So who are you anyway?
