"Raised in an orphanage in America," she told her. "I had family here but they wouldn't take me when my parents died." She didn't think that that information was at all important so she had no problems telling it. "What about you?"

"I'm also from America," She said with a smile, "Small world."

"Small world," she repeated. They entered the cafe. "What you want?" she asked. "My treat."

Ruby smiled, "Coffee thanks," she retorted, "Double double." She added as she grabbed them a booth.

Tsuchi ordered their drinks, a double double for Ruby and a black coffee for herself. She waited a minute for their order before making her way over to the booth where Ruby sat. She slid the girl her drink as she sat down.

Ruby said another thanks and she pulled out her pack of smokes offering one to the girl. "What brings you to Japan?" She asked curiously.

She shook her head as she took a sip of coffee. "Well, I've been here for a while. Couple years on and off with the swing of things. Originally I came here to um, you could say I came here to find a relative."

"oh, and how is that going?" Ruby asked as she put away her pack after pulling one out for herself and lighting it.

"Oh, that ended the minute I got here. I found her." She smiled, an evil edge to the simple expression.

Ruby raised an eyebrow, "Well thats good, hard work gets so boring." She said as she ashed her cigarette.

Tsuchi shook her head slightly. "So what brought you here?"

"What brings everyone else here." She said with a shrug, "Kira mostly."

She nodded. "Good point. So you hunting him?" She took a drink from her mug.

She shook her head, "Not really, more for the sake of proving i can find him. To be honest as long as i'm not on his hit list i dont care what he or she dose."

Tsuchi laughed quietly. "Make sense.

"In an odd way it dose, but people just take shit way to personally. The guy who blow up my place did it to fuck me up. Like really we are looking for a serial killer and you go and do a crime like that. Then the bitch wanted to lock me away. Bitches be crazy."

"Blowing up your apartment could have been part of a larger plan, who knows?" She shrugged. "As for that guy that you were talking to in the park..." She took a drink. "I was going to shoot him but then lost the opprotunity."

"Oh damn what a waste." She said with a sigh, "Why were you going to shoot him?"

Tsuchi shrugged a shoulder. "Overheard a couple things, didn't understand why he was going to put you away." She took a sip from her cup and when she spoke she didn't look up: "Call it a feeling that I should have done it..."

Ruby smiled, "He dose give off that feeling like he needs a bullet in the head." She said with a laugh, "Such a jerk."

Tsuchi smiled slightly and nodded. "I also want to put a bullet there because from what I gathered he's not very faithful to those he works with. I owe him a gunshot so he doesn't screw over an aquantance of mine."

"I wouldn't put it past him, as far as i can tell hes only in this for himself. Hes trying to get rid of all the other detectives so that he can take his time finding kira. Hes to slow in the head to do otherwise."

Tsuchi nodded slowly. "Ah. Well then someone should do something about him."

"Someone will eventually, hes been stepping on a lot of toes lately." She said raising her cup to her lips. "Did you have something in mind?" She asked before taking a sip of her cooling coffee.

"Not really; he's been in the back of my mind lately, but seeing you has brought him back to the front."
