Ruby walked down the hall her heals click clacking angst the freshly waxed floor. She entered her classroom a few students were early siting and chatting. Placing her books down on her desk she turned her back to the few students and wrote a name on the bored before pulling the map down the cover it. "Kira, Good or Evil?" Was now hidden behind the map as she waited for the bell to ring and for the debate to start.


((OOC: This topic is open to all students and anyone else roaming school halls for no reason. Ruby has a special lessen plan, a debate on KIRA! DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN.))

Carrying her class books in her arms and a napsack over her shoulder, Ren walked into the classroom. She saw Mrs. Red, from her other class, up at the front. Cocking an eyebrow, Ren sat at the back of the class and took out all her supplies.
Everyone around her were whispering to each other about the teacher. "We are going to discuss Kira in this class." One student stated. "What is she..nuts?" another stupid replied.
Ren sighed and looked around. She'd just be calm this entire class and not go into discussion..hopefully.

"Yeah, not def, students." She said dully, "And we will be discussing Kira because you all need to be aware. The teachers thinks you shouldn't be exposed to it but its out there." She gestured to the window. "Its in your homes on the TV and the internet and i think that if we cant discus it in class then you wont be able to know for yourselves how you feel about it." She pulled up the map, "Since you all seem to be so keen on it lets start the debate now." She as she finished her sentence the bell rang.

Leonardo would be standing right behind Ren, his arms dangling in front of him as he leaned forward over her shoulder.
"This seems such a boring place to be... and their talking about 'Kira'? Isn't that the title that you technically hold now..."
He asked as he chuckled faintly.

Ren rolled her eyes trying to ignore Ginko. Eyes fixed to the front of the class, eager to listen what this teacher had to say.
She wrote down on a piece of paper and slid it to the side so Ginko could see. It said, 'Shut up. I don't want to throttle you in front of everyone and then be sent to the loony bin.'

The class was silent, no one wanted to start. Ruby sighed wanting to slap herself in the forhead but she didn't. "Ok how about this, Is what Kira is doing wrong?"

A girl in the middle of the class raised her hand, "Well killing is always wrong, but Kira, Kira is killing people who do bad!" The girl said in a squicky voice.

"Killing is killing no matter who it is." A boy in the back called out.

"But the city is so safe now, i can walk down the street knowing Kira is protecting me!" ]

Ruby let the discussion go on, keeping a mental record of who said what and how. She also made a mental note of who said nothing at all.

Ren looked around, inside she was on the border of this discussion. Half of her thought she was right about killing only the bad people that deserved it. The other half of her thought herself a monster. Through this discussion though, she found herself thinking it was the right thing to do. This teacher was persistent and Ren was becoming more and more suspicious of her. As soon as the class went silent, Ren finally got her chance to say something, "Eh, I don't think that Kira, whoever this person might be, is right. Shouldn't take justice into your own hands. This is why we have laws. But ... again on the other hand. No one else wants to live in a world where criminals bulk up in jail, finish their sentence and walk on the streets again. Who wants to constantly live in fear?" She eyed all of her class mates.

A boy in the front spoke up, "I say 'Thank you, Kira!' My mother was murdered. The fucker video recorded everything he had done to her.." A tear rolled down his cheek. ".. I wanted to see that bastard in the chair. But of course we don't have the chair anymore or hanging. He's in prison.. gets three meals a day, exercises and probably other stuff that shouldn't be allowed to them. Why must our Laws help out the criminals? He should have been tortured and shot." The boys body shook with rage.
Ren's heart felt his pain. "I'm truly sorry for your loss." She told him.

"What if someone was to be killed by Kira who wasn't bad?" Ruby instigated playing devils advocate. "What if Kira killed someone wrongfully accused?"

"Kira would never do that he knows."

"So if not that then what about killing the police who hunt him? or the people that appose him?" Time to get their little minds thinking.' Ruby thought as her eyes scanned over the group. 'Ren didn't appose him nor support Kira, could be out of fear... or guilt.'

Ren scratched her head, "No.." She spoke up. "If someone were to justify the acts of others wrong doings.. he wouldn't target police." Tapping her chin, "If they knew who Kira was, they would have gotten him already. But giving the state of Laws they couldn't touch him. He didn't touch anyone, there is no evidence to conclude that he killed those people. Just an assumption, right?" She sighed. "There's no such thing as magic. You can't snap your fingers and BOOM someone is dead. Apparently, all his victims he's killed died of heart attacks. No offence, No one can cause heart attacks. This whole situation is bogus. If an old man died of a heart attack, are they to assume that this Kira killed him? There's no evidence. We live in a world where we have law enforcement, hard core facts. No.. magic and assumptions. The government is scared and trying to put fear into the hearts of everyone so we can be controlled. I think this is all a conspiracy. But given the fact my grandparents were hippies and told me a ton of stories. This is what I believe." She sighed.

"“Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.”~Sherlock Homes." Ruby stated, "How ever kira is doing this there will be evidence of it. and sooner or later the police and detectives will find it."

Ren looked at the teacher, her suspicion only grew. "And until there is hardcore evidence, that is released to the public and not some government cover up, then this whole thing is a sham." She straightened up. "This discussion has been an eye opener, Mrs. Red, but honestly, can you, a teacher, tell me that there is such thing as magic? You've studied known facts, you're here to teach us that there is such thing as magic? Any professor will want evidence stating that. Any judge and jury will need proof. If they found the source of these killings, could they possibly test it out just to make sure it works? I think not, because murder IS murder no matter how you look at it. It's wrong. No one wants that on their conscience. Whatever is going on here is because the government is scared. Prisons are packed to the max and this is the only way to keep people scared. Someone does something wrong they are next on the list. No one wants to die, Mrs. Red, so.. who's going to murder someone just to be killed? Do you understand this? There needs to be some organised system. Pinning a blame on someone who doesn't exist is smart. Everyone's too scared to go against the Law, hence...order, control. That's what this is all about, really. "

"So you think Kira is the government? trying to kill of the bad?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Well that is a valid theory but your forgetting the government has thrown hundreds and millions of dollars at detectives and police to find Kira. Only to have it traced back to them, dose that seem logical to you? wasting money when they know its them? I think that would piss off a lot of tax payers."

Ren thought about this for a moment, "Seems legit." She smiled. "Who would possibly think the government is involved? It's just beating around the bush, really. I only think like this because of what has been told of me. The government will do anything for a cover up. In the states, they do it. Area 51. Ufo's. Government lab facilities that produce harmful products that can kill the world. All these things are what tax payers pay for. But they don't know it. Why can't that happen here?" She shrugged. "I don't know why you wanted us to have debate about this. Everyone has their opinions. This is a waste of precious school time. I want to be a doctor and if I don't pass my classes because some teacher wants to talk about something NOT related to school then I'm fucked and it's your fault."

"Kira seems to be a big part of the world today. Maybe some day Kira will be a lesson in school. I'm just ahead of the curve. And if you don't watch your language we can continue this conversation after class."

Ren snorted. This teacher was seriously starting to piss her off. "Trust me. Once it's in the history books I won't hesitate to learn something provided the teacher actually taught us something." Growling "How about we finish this in the principle's office and he can see his tax money being wasted. How about that? You're a supply teacher, teach us what our regular teacher wants us to learn. This is getting ridiculous. I want to learn. How many times have you actually heard a student say that?"
A few students in the class snorted and 'oooh' at them. "If we aren't going to be doing any school work, I might as well leave." Ren gathered up her things and headed toward the door.

'10%' Ruby said with an internal smirk.

"Hey Ren, do you like movies?" She asked giving her a look that said 'I know who you are' She turned back to the glass. "Since you would rather learn, you can go to the library and wright me a 10 page essay on why the chain of command in important. That is what your teacher wanted but i thought this would be more fun. Anyone else who want to do this may go to but if you rather just say and piss the class away talking about important things like world events and history in the making then i encourage you to stay."

Ren turned to look at Ruby, "Who doesn't like movies?" She asked innocently, with her eyebrow raised. She wasn't going to let Ruby intimidate her or come to know what she had done. Ren's face only showed confusion as to why Ruby would ask such a question. Sighing, "I would gladly like to write that up. So if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the library. " Ren turned around and left the classroom and headed to the library.

'Her height is about the same as the person from the video also... 12%... I'll have to watch her more closely.'

The discussion went on in the class, after Ren left.

Leonardo would follow behind Ren, chuckling slightly.
"That woman back there is scary..."
He said sarcastically and chuckling.
"What are you gonna do, Ren? Surely your aware your being watched no matter where you are..."
He said, his chuckle continuing.

Ren continued to walk, "Who the hell does she think she is?" Ren growled.



Before she spoke another word, she made sure there was hardly anyone in the library and took a seat in a corner, far away from prying eyes and nosy ears.

Leonardo simply chuckled.
"Of course..."
He said as he smirked and followed her about.

"man this kira guy is a killer i wonder who it is"Maddie whispered to her self.As the class talked Maddie drew a picture of the class.'Man im bored'she thought then she remembered she had to visit her friend in the hospital.she looked at the time "man this is going to be a long day"Maddie said as she listened to the teacher.
